MBA
Seminar in Foreign Business and Global Capstone
MBA students
travel to Bratislava, Slovakia and Brussels Belgium
Following the tradition of the distinguishing characteristics
that St. Edward's was founded by, the courage to take
risks and an international perspective, the School of
Management and Business reaches across the globe by
not only bringing the latest challenges and opportunities
of the international marketplace into the classroom
but by also taking students to the international marketplace.
The Global Business
concentration offers a Seminar
in Foreign Business and a Global
Capstone course where students work with leaders
of industry, government, and academia worldwide to conduct
research and develop business plans for international
businesses. And the students themselves, who come from
countries around the world, greatly enrich the courses
by bringing their diverse perspectives. Twenty-six St.
Edward’s University Evening MBA students enrolled
in the Seminar in Foreign Business and Global Capstone
courses during the spring term and spent a week in Bratislava,
Slovakia and Brussels,
Belgium developing business plans and conducting
consulting services for international businesses.
