A degree within the MAHS program requires 36 semester hours. All MAHS students are required to take 6 core courses (18 hours) plus 6 additional courses in a select area of concentration.

Concentrations
The second area of study in the MAHS degree program is composed of 18 hours of concentration courses. The student will combine required and elective courses in this area of study to broaden problem-solving skills and deepen knowledge in his/her selected concentration.
