MS in CIS Curriculum
and Courses
The MS in CIS program consists of four hours of foundation
courses (Phase I) and 12 three-hour courses in three
remaining phases. Phase II consists of five core courses
in fundamental information systems topics. Phase III
offers six advanced courses in pioneering areas of information
systems. Phase IV brings the program together with a
Capstone project utilizing skills gained throughout
MS in CIS coursework.
Students with little or no background in information
systems will take a foundation course during their first
trimester to prepare them for the remainder of the program.
