each period of employment. It is also important to include
the names and complete addresses for each farmwork-related
employer in the last 24 months or the application will be
considered ineligible. In lieu of work history, St. Edward's
University will accept a copy of a Certificate of Eligibility
(COE) from the student's high school.
You are eligible for the College Assistance
Migrant Program (CAMP) if the following statements apply:
- You, your parent(s) or guardian(s)
have engaged in migrant or seasonal farmwork for at least
75 days in the past 24 months and during the 75 day period,
farmwork was the primary source of income for your family.
- You or your family can provide accurate
and verifiable dates of employment for 75 days of migrant
or seasonal work in the last 24 months.
- You or your family can provide names
and addresses of employers.

Migrant
Work
Migrant
farmworkers are those students whose families migrate from
their hometowns to other states or towns within the state
for farmwork-related employment. Examples of farmwork include:
soil preparation, planting, harvesting fruit/vegetables,
and plowing. Some ranchwork (such as feeding livestock and
sheep shearing) and some fishing activity may also be used
for eligibility purposes.
Seasonal Farmwork
Seasonal farmworkers are those families
who perform the same type of work as described under migrant
work, but the work is performed on a temporary basis.

personal data such as full name, address and country of
citizenship. Students who are permanent residents should
send a front and back copy of their alien registration card
with their application.
Personal Essay
A one page typed essay must be completed
by the student. The essay will provide the Admission Committee
with a sample of the student's writing ability and an idea
of the student's educational goals.
