Presidential Fellowship
[GRADUATE STUDENTS]

SIZE AND NUMBER OF AWARDS:
Three (3) recipients per term (i.e three recipients each fall, spring, and summer) of a "fellowship" in the form of tuition for one graduate course.

CRITERIA:
Students who wish to apply for the Presidential Fellowship must have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and completed at least 12 graduate hours at St. Edward's University. Award also requires a graduate GPA of 3.5 or better.

Fellowships will be awarded on the basis of the quality of the applicant's essay which will address the question, "How will you use your graduate degree to extend the St. Edward's University Mission in your life and career?"

AWARD PROCESS:
Applications will be solicited, received and processed each term for the following term by the Center for Academic Progress. Applications will be reviewed and recipients selected by the Presidential Fellowship Committee.

DEADLINES:
Fall candidates: July 1
Spring candidates: Nov. 1
Summer Candidates: April 1

ESSAY GUIDELINES:
Essays should be at least one page in length (~200 words).
