HAPPEN (HIV/AIDS Prevention Peer Education Network) Coordinator: Sara P. McLean
Goals : Educate others to make responsible decisions regarding HIV/AIDS and other STI's, promote healthy relationships, solidarity and caring for those affected.
Theme Campaigns : World AIDS Day (December), Sexual Responsibility Week (February), SEU Safe Zone Campaign
HEAL (Healthy Eating And Living) Coordinator: Samantha Swaim
Goals : Address the issue of eating disorders and distorted body image by promoting healthy eating habits and self-perceptions, educate others how to help a friend.
Theme Campaign : National Depression Screening Day, World Mental Health Day (October), Eating Disorder Awareness Week (February)
HEART (Helping Educate About Alcohol Responsibility Together) Coordinator: Rebecca Tresch
Goals : Educate others to make responsible decisions, cope with addiction and recovery of self and others (family & friends), identify risks involved, and have fun and be safe.
Theme Campaigns : Red Ribbon Day, Founder's Day, Parents Weekend, Casino Night, Drunk Drinking and Drugged Awareness Week, Alcohol Awareness Week (October), Bacchus Outdoor Adventure: Safe Spring Break (March).
Publicity Coordinator: Michael Carter
Goals : Involve all members to help publicize for all programs (post fliers, banners, newsletter, BACCHUS webpage, forward email, and by word-of-mouth). Enhance other public relations, such as newspaper articles, etc.
SANet (Sexual Assault Network) Coordinator: Laura Gonzalez
Goals : Promote a society that does not tolerate sexual assault and rape (highly inclusive of both men and women to achieve this end), provide preventative and informational programming about domestic violence, date-rape drugs, one's rights on and off campus, and more, support for survivors as well as family and friends of survivor.
Theme Campaign : Sexual Assault Awareness Week (April), CARE (Concerned About Rape Education) to Stop the Violence Series (Spring - March or April)
REACH (Real Education About Community Health) Coordinator: Leah Foster
Goals : Develop community alliances with neighborhood programs including elementary, middle and high schools.
Services Provided : Varied scope of programs offered according to the needs of the schools.
BACCHUS Performance Troupe Coordinator: Jennifer Pyburn
Goals : Educate others on various topics utilizing theatrical skills to cover multiple topics related to college health.
Theme Campaigns : Orientation/Welcome Week, Parents Weekend
