Urgent Care
In the event of a mental health crisis during regular business hours, urgent care hours are available daily for students. Please call 448-8538 or come to our office in Moody Hall, Room 110, and identify the situation as urgent or a crisis.
In emergency situations or circumstances that require an immediate police, fire, or medical response to preserve life or property, please call the University Police Department (448-8444) or call 911.
Suicide Hotline: 512-472-4357 (HELP)
The Crisis Line is Austin and Travis County's 24-hour crisis intervention and suicide prevention program.

24/7 Phone Consultation
To ensure availability of counseling services, the center provides on-call services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Whenever the center is closed, call the University Police Department who will contact the Counseling Consultant for 24/7 phone consultation: 448-8444. We offer consultation and advice for all St. Edward's University students (or for their concerned friends, family, faculty, or staff).
