AlcoholEdu for Sanctions @ St. Edward's University
AlcoholEdu for Sanctions is an online course (approximately 3 hours) designed specifically to help students who have violated alcohol policies make safer and healthier choices - and avoid experiencing problems again. The course provides a strong educational foundation to support campus judicial programs and is an essential component of a comprehensive alcohol prevention initiative.
AlcoholEdu for Sanctions engages students by integrating prevention techniques with non-opinionated, science-based, interactive alcohol education. It provides a highly personalized and customized educational experience that:

- Changes perceptions
- Motivates behavior change
- Supports healthier decisions
AlcoholEdu for Sanctions is the key to individual interventions with students whose behavior has caused negative consequences for themselves, others, or their institutions. For additional information, go to Outside the Classroom webpage.
A student complete AlcoholEdu for Sanctions must receive at least 70% for passing grade. Otherwise, the student will have to retake the course until it is passed successfully. Once a student receives a passing grade, they will be able to print a cerificate of completion.
To Get Started 1. Go to http://sanctions.alcoholedu.com/
2. Under "New User" enter the following Sanctions Login ID: 7S227845S
3. Click "Sign Up"
4. On the registration page, create your personal AlcoholEdu account using your 6-digit SEU student ID number, an email address, and a password of your choice.

5. You may log in and out of the course at the end of each section. DO NOT log out until you click the "Next" button or your answers will not be saved.
6. When you return, log in as a "Returning User" and enter the SAME email address and password you created when you first logged into the course. This is very important! Using different email addresses is the main reason people have technical difficulties.
7. Should you experience any difficulties or require support, click the "Technical Help" button located in the upper right-hand corner of every AlcoholEdu course screen (available 24/7). You do not need to be logged on to the course to access the Help site.
Technical Requirements
To take AlcoholEdu for College, you will need a computer with Internet access and audio capabilities. Your Internet connection needs broadband or at least 56K access, along with Flash Player 7 or later. We advise you to have all other programs or applications turned off, including music and video clips and Instant Messaging. If you do not have these system requirements at home, please checkout your local library, Kinko's or cyber cafe for Internet access. See the Troubleshooting screen for more information.
