One Goal. Lots of Winners.
In 2002, St. Edward’s University launched the EDDIE Awards — EveryDay Demonstrations of Ingenuity and Excellence. The program recognizes staff and faculty who successfully collaborate on projects or initiatives that:
- Result in better experiences for our students
- Help the university advance its reputation
Good ideas can come from anywhere.
We continually looks for ways to improve the student experience and have found that good ideas can come from anywhere — administration and faculty and staff members — at anytime. So, review the award categories and see who’s won in previous years. Think about the projects you’ve been involved with that have had a positive impact on students. Then, look for the EDDIE Awards call for nominations in the fall and nominate your project.
What will my team win?
In addition to being recognized at the Spring President’s Meeting for working together
with colleagues to help St. Edward’s become one of the best small universities in the
United States, your team will win a trophy. Plus, all team members will enjoy one
month of VIP parking, which allows the winners to park in any space on campus — other than those marked handicapped or for visitors, emergency vehicles and, of course, President George E. Martin. |
