Winner: Online Financial Aid Calculator
Only 14% of colleges provide Financial Aid Calculators and now the St. Edward’s admission website has it. This new tool reveals just how affordable St. Edward’s can be for students and parents. The Financial Aid Calculator is designed to help students with their college search and encourage them to apply to St. Edward's University. Team Members:

Winner: St. Edward’s University Co-curricular Transcript
Students participate in a variety of out-of-classroom learning opportunities during their college years, but they did not have a mechanism to track and report their experience and involvement. The new Co-curricular Transcript is a comprehensive reporting tool for all students to supplement their resumes and enhance their candidacy for future employment, education and award opportunities.

Winner: Let’s Blog!
Striving to be on the forefront of new media technology for teaching and learning,
St. Edward’s now has Blackboard-based tools to meet faculty and student demand for private and group-based blogs, wikis and basic podcasting. This new online environment allows students to collaborate, learn and reflect upon their experiences. Team members:

 Judges’ Special Merit Award: Fleck Hall – Necessity the Mother of Innovation, pre-building teachers’ stations off-site
While the renovation of Fleck Hall was underway, technology for all classrooms was also being planned for vast improvement. In order for the building to make a positive impression and reflect the St. Edward's University vision, many departments worked together to pioneer an innovative off-site build of “Smart Technology,” which was later relocated to Fleck Hall.
