Students completing the following academic programs will be awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in the specific area of concentration and will be recommended for Texas EC-grade 4 teacher certification upon graduation and the successful completion of the appropriate licensure examinations.

All students working toward elementary certification must meet the course
requirements under:

1. general education
2. elementary combination of subjects
3. professional education Language Arts or
4. professional education Spanish/Bilingual
   as well as their chosen
5. area of academic specialization (major).
