Middle School Certification Requirements (Grades 4-8)

Students completing the following programs will be awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in the specific area of concentration and will be recommended for Texas Grades 4-8 Teacher Certification upon graduation and the successful completion of the appropriate licensure exams.

  3. a 48-hour area of academic specialization (major)
