Proficiency Test (TOPT)
The TOPT is designed to assess an individual's
ability to speak Spanish. Students are required to successfully
complete the TOPT in Spanish if seeking:
1. Grades 8-12 certification in Spanish
2. EC-4 Bilingual Generalist certification
3. Supplemental Bilingual education certification
TOPT registration materials are available in the School
of Education office, HCH 102.
