Job Fair Offers Students Many Options

This year's Job & Internship Fair, held March 27, attracted nearly 500 students looking to learn firsthand about potential career opportunities.
The fair is open to all students and is an opportunity to network with employers and submit resumes for full-time jobs in a variety of fields. Students may also pursue internships at the fair.
Feedback from recruiters confirms that St. Edward's University students are attractive candidates well-prepared to enter the workforce.
Daniela Del Castillo, MAHS '07, manages recruiting efforts and the internship program for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. She says that students at St. Edward's have a real focus on community, making them perfect candidates for the foundation. "The mission of the university in many ways reflects that of the Lance Armstrong Foundation. It's a natural fit for us," says Castillo.
Scott Reinoehl, BBA '05, a recruiter for Time Warner Cable, says he couldn't wait to get to the point in his career where he could come back as an employer. "Coming back to St. Edward's is always exciting. I really like the caliber of students I meet."
If your student missed this year's fair, be sure to remind him or her to attend next year.
