Graduation Tips for Your Senior

2008 Graduation Graduation is right around the corner. Are you and your senior ready? You can help keep your senior on track during this final semester with our helpful graduation checklist from the Office of the Registrar. It lists key to-do items that need attention from your student before graduation. There’s also a complete listing of specific dates and times for commencement practice, baccalaureate service and other important events.

Has your student stopped by the Office of Career Planning? It’s a “must do” for all St. Edward’s University students — especially seniors. Find out more about Career Planning in this newsletter.

In the next few weeks, your senior will receive invitations to end-of-year graduation events and parties sponsored by St. Edward’s. We are proud to celebrate your senior’s accomplishments.

Staying Connected

Just because your senior is leaving the hilltop doesn’t mean he or she can’t stay in touch with fellow Hilltoppers. The St. Edward’s University Alumni Association helps support and connect graduating students to more than 22,000 alumni around the world through special events and various alumni chapters. Every graduate can join the alumni association for free.

Giving Back

Graduates are encouraged to leave a lasting legacy on the hilltop by making a donation to the Senior Gift Campaign. With their gift, graduates make an investment in the education of future Hilltoppers — just like previous alumni of St. Edward’s have invested in the Class of 2009.
