Programs and Resources for Students
  • Introducing the VAULT Online Career Library
Students at St. Edward’s now have 24-hour access to the VAULT online career library — and all they need to access the VAULT is an Internet connection. Students can preview and download resources including 70+ industry and career guidebooks and 40+ premium employer profiles. They also have access to industry message boards, occupation profiles and thousands of articles on career topics like internships and networking. Parents can access the VAULT, too.

  • Straight to the SOURCE
On April 7, St. Edward’s will host the sixth annual SOURCE — the Symposium On Undergraduate Research and Creative Expression. Through SOURCE, students have the opportunity to present their research and creative projects to students and faculty members in a formal setting. And presenting at SOURCE pays off: students improve communication skills and self-confidence and gain an experience that will stand out on résumés and graduate school applications. Read more about why your student should participate in SOURCE, and find out how your student can submit an abstract for consideration.

  • Is Your Student Looking for a Summer Internship? Students at St. Edward’s complete more than 65,000 hours in internships each year — and they intern at top companies across the country including University Federal Credit Union, Freescale Semiconductor, GSD&M Advertising, the Texas Film Commission and the United Nations Association. Students can get a head start finding a summer internship now by making an appointment with a career counselor to review a résumé and cover letter, honing interviewing skills and searching Career Planning’s internship database. Learn more about internships, or contact Internship Coordinator David Uribe, ’98, MSOLE, ’04, with questions.
