Seniors Invest in Legacy and Future Hilltoppers

Every graduating class at St. Edward’s University has the opportunity
to leave a lasting legacy that will benefit future Hilltoppers. Remind
your senior about the importance of giving back through the
Senior Gift Campaign.

The Senior Gift Campaign encourages seniors to donate
an amount equivalent to the year in which they graduate.
2008 seniors are asked to give $20.08, which will go toward scholarships, campus beautification, service programs and events.

 

The Senior Gift Campaign is headed by a committee of students. “With the help of this committee, we are mapping out ways to build a culture of philanthropy among our students and educate them about The St. Edward’s Fund,” says Courtney Hankins, assistant director for The St. Edward’s Fund. “Giving in any capacity is important for the experience of future students.”

A Gift That Gives Back

Typically 85% of all gifts to The St. Edward’s Fund go to scholarships. Seniors can also choose to have their gift honor someone special. “When I donate my senior gift, I plan on honoring a couple of people, simply because I believe that giving back to St. Edward’s is a great way to say thank you to the people who made my time here so wonderful,” says Ashley Mouton ’09.

As busy seniors wrap up their final semester, encourage yours to make a gift that will transform the lives of future students. Senior gifts can easily be made online, by mail or via fax.
