New International Partnership in Hong Kong
St. Edward’s University is pleased to announce its newest educational partnership with The Chinese University of
Hong Kong (CUHK) — Wu Yee Sun College in Hong Kong, China.
CUHK is our 12th international partner, further expanding opportunities for exchange students and study abroad.
Students at St. Edward’s can begin studying at CUHK in Fall 2013. Courses are taught in English, and students
have the option to study Mandarin.
Forming a Valuable Alliance
“Our partnership with The Chinese University of Hong Kong is an opportunity for St. Edward’s University to work
with a top Asian university in the heart of innovative and multicultural Hong Kong,” says Bill Clabby, associate
vice president for Global Initiatives.
Founded in 1963, CUHK is a comprehensive research-led university that delivers high-quality education for both
undergraduate and graduate students. CUHK graduates are connected worldwide through an expansive alumni network.
“St. Edward’s and The Chinese University of Hong Kong share common values of perseverance, ethical and moral
development, and service to the community,” says Clabby. “We know that our students and institutions will be
transformed by interaction with one another.”
