Career Connections
Invest in your career potential and attend a special exchange on Saturday, July 29, for New College and graduate alumni and students. Breakout sessions will focus on:

  • Positioning yourself for success in Austin’s evolving job market
  • Understanding key opportunities and trends in the nonprofit and high-tech industries
  • Hearing from alumni and faculty about networking and career opportunities for each program

Guest speakers include Larry Temple, ’98, executive director of the Texas Workforce Commission; Michael Guerra, ’83, chief operating officer for the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas; Tara Kirkland, director of consulting services at Greenlights for Nonprofit Success; and Mike Maples, a former executive of the Worlwide Products Group and a former member of the Office of the President at Microsoft Corporation.

Join fellow alumni, faculty and staff at the ballpark for a St. Edward’s alumni tradition. The Austin Chapter can cheer on the Round Rock Express, while the Dallas Chapter can root for the Texas Rangers.
