  • Drawing From Nature Art Exhibit
    Monday, July 2, 6:30pm-8:30pm at Wild Basin

    This summer Wild Basin hosted its first St. Edward's University art course, Drawing from Nature. We are thrilled to invite the Wild Basin community to the Drawing from Nature Art Exhibit on July 2nd, 6:30pm- 8:30pm. Light refreshments will be served.   • BCP Hike and Lecture Series- Kid friendly snake lecture and hike
    Tuesday, July 10, 6:30pm-8:30pm at Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve

    Join Travis County as we partner with The Wild Basin Preserve in presenting a night filled with ooh's and aah's as we discover the realm of snakes. 
     
    We start the program off at 6:30 p.m. with a 30 minute family friendly program (all ages welcomed) covering snakes.  This program will be a more kid-centered program.
     
    Next, Travis County Volunteer Coordinator William Burch and volunteers from Wild Basin will take the group on a 1-hour interpretive hike around Wild Basin focused on reptiles. 
     
    Considerations:
    Sturdy footgear is recommended. Drinking water and other concessions are not available so please plan to bring your own. Sun block, hats, and insect repellant are recommended. Please feel free to bring binoculars and/or photographic cameras. No pets are permitted within the preserve.
    Limited to 25 individuals, ages 6 and up.  We will be going on a hike; trails are not accessible with strollers.

  • Freshman Orientation Session 4
    Thursday, July 12, 8:00am-Friday, July 13, 5:00pm at Robert and Pearle Ragsdale Center, Main Lobby

    Incoming freshman students and their respective families and friends will be on campus July 12 and 13 to get acquainted with our university and all of its resources. Please welcome our newest Hilltoppers to our community. If you see any lost parents or students, please direct them to one of the Orientation staff members who will be able to assist them.

  • Fr. Rick Wilkinson's Last Campus Mass
    Sunday, July 29, 10:30am-11:30am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel

     Fr. Rick Wilksinson, CSC, director of Campus Ministry will celebrate his last campus Mass on Sunday, July 29th at 10:30 a.m. 
    A small reception will follow.
