    Friday, January 10, 5:00pm-Monday, January 13, 11:45pm

    CARS, EdWeb, and Banner will be offline for data migration starting Friday, January 10 at 5 PM.
    Access to CARS and EdWeb will be restored at or before 5 PM on Sunday, January 12.
    Access to Banner will be restored at or before 8 AM on Monday, January 13.
    The data migration that necessitates this downtime is a significant milestone in the implementation of new administration software for the University and we appreciate your patience as we complete this step.

    This exhibition provides a setting where the university community and the public are able to see the depth and excellence of creative visual work by students from the departments fo Art, Graphic design, Photocommunications, and Theater Desgin at St. Edward's University. A visiting creative professional is invited to jury this exhibition each year.

  • A Response to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's Letter from Birmingham Jail: A Biblical Study
    Tuesday, January 21, 12:00pm-1:00pm at Robert and Pearle Ragsdale Center, Lucas Room (Room 301)

    Marking the 50th anniversary of the Letter, this biblical study invites participants into a process of reflection concerning the words of Dr. King.
    This study is comprised by Christian Churches Together, representing Evangelical/Pentecostal, Orthodox, Catholic, Historic Protestant and Historical Black churches.
    Every Tuesday starting January 21 thru February 25, Noon - 1:00pm, Lucas Room
    Participants need not attend every session in order to participate.Reading accompaniment is provided.
    RSVP are appreciated but not required.
    This initial study date is an event in support of Christian Unity Week.

  • The Spiritual Journey of the Labyrinth

     Walking the path of the Labyrinth during the Middle Ages was seen as a pilgrimage. In fact, prayer labyrinths were called Chemin de Jerusalem (Roads of Jerusalem).
     
    Rev. Amelia Fulbright from the Labyrinth Progressive Student Ministry at UT will share about the history, workings, and spirituality of the Labyrinth.
     
    This presentation is part of Christian Unity Week events.

    Each faculty, staff and student may nominate 1 male and 1 female underclassmen for Homecoming Court, and 1 male and 1 female senior for the Senior Homecoming Court.
    All students should demonstrate the St. Edward’s Mission, exceptional school spirit, and uphold high academic standards.
     
    Voting will take place Feb. 17 – Feb. 21 at 5 p.m. on Collegiate Link.

  • Dr. Nelson Arboleda (SEU '94) Lecture: “Global Health Outbreak Investigations in Different Cultural Settings”
    Thursday, January 30, 5:00pm-6:00pm at Robert and Pearle Ragsdale Center, Mabee Ballroom A

    Dr. Nelson Arboleda (SEU ’94 and Alumni Achievement Award Winner), Director, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Central American Region, will be delivering a talk on January 30.” Dr. Arboleda graduated from St. Edward’s with a Bachelor of Science, and has gone on to a distinguished career as an epidemiologist with organizations including the WHO and CDC, including significant work on HIV/AIDS and pandemic influenza. Presented by the Center for Religion and Culture, with the Office for Global Initiatives, Kozmetsky Center, and the School of Natural Sciences. Light reception to follow.
