Executive
Seminar Series
The
MBA and MAHS Programs offer an Executive Seminar
Series (ESS). The ESS consists of one-credit and
two-credit seminar courses. The ESS integrates
executive real world guidance and experience with
a rigor of academic research. Each seminar consists
of a group of 15-20 students that attend a lecture/presentation
by a business expert or leader and then, under
the guidance of a professor, prepare a 15-page
research paper or major project on the topic presented.
Students need to attend and complete the requirements
for three credit hours of these seminars to attain
the three credit hours necessary to fulfill one
three-hour elective credit course or one three-hour
Special Topics course offered in the majority
of MBA concentrations.
