Unsung Heroes
Unsung Hero Awards are given annually to a few non-supervisory staff employees who consistently demonstrate the university’s operating principles, but whose jobs may not allow them to get the public notice and recognition they deserve. Unsung Heroes are chosen through a process of nomination by other employees, and review and rating of the blind nominations by a committee of faculty and staff members selected by the vice presidents.
