| Regular employees experiencing
a death in their immediate family (spouse, employee's or
spouse's children, parents, siblings, grandchildren and
grandparents) are eligible for time off with pay to attend
the funeral. In general time off with pay will be allowed
for the day of the death through the day of the
funeral. As the university realizes the amount of time off
that may be needed varies greatly in individual cases, exceptions
to this policy may be granted by the Director of Human Resources
upon written request by the employee. |
