| All regular employees are automatically
enrolled in a LTD insurance plan on their eligibility date.
This benefit is provided to the employee at no cost. Coverage
is effective on the first day of the month following the
regular employment date for exempt employees and the first
day of the month following the completion of two years of
regular employment for non-exempt employees. When approval for Long Term Disability benefits is a precursor to disability retirement, the separation from service date will be the end of the month in which the university received notification of the approval. |
