WOW is a program to help supervisors recognize employees for Wonderfully Outstanding Work. Why? Because in national surveys and a survey at St. Edward’s, employees said the most meaningful recognition they receive comes from their supervisor.

Supervisors can use WOW vouchers to give instant praise to the employees they supervise. Employees who receive WOWs will be entered into monthly drawings for their choice of a $75 Visa Gift Card or a half day of paid WOW leave, and quarterly drawings for $150 gift cards or a full day of paid leave. Additionally, there will be quarterly prize drawings to reward supervisors who use the WOW vouchers.

This program supports the university's strategic priority to expand and retain high-quality faculty and staff.

NOTE:  The WOW program is about recognition of staff employees by their direct supervisors and does not replace the RAVE program.  Submitting a RAVE is still the way anyone (faculty, staff, student, visitor, etc.) can recognize any SEU employee for demonstrating the operating principles.
