SEU Still Water Art Scholarships

Each spring semester SEU art majors are invited to apply for the Still Water scholarship. Recipients are determined primarily on the basis of the applicant's art portfolio. The amount of the award varies but typically ranges from $1500 to $2000 applied toward the cost of tuition.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The applicant must be an art major with sixty quality hours at the end of the current semester, half of which must be from St. Edward's

The applicant must be enrolled at St. Edward's as a full time student for the semester in which the scholarship is granted.

Applicants must have a 3.0 G.P.A. in art

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The applicant must submit the following:

A hard copy of his or her academic record as well as a current course schedule to the scholarship committee

A written artist statement and or a brief letter describing his or her future artistic and educational goals

Five to twelve images of his or her art work in CD format

The above (CD of images, Artist statement or letter, Current transcript) must be submitted to the art area coordinator on or before the application deadline to be announced mid-spring semester of each year.
