The formal review of your portfolio will occur prior to your graduation and will follow the process described below.

• Your portfolio is due in the School of Humanities office (Andre 105) three weeks prior to graduation.
• A committee of the full-time Communication faculty will review, score and assign an overall grade to your portfolio. Your portfolio must receive a passing grade in order for you to graduate!
• Your portfolio will be assessed for such qualities as completeness, professionalism, and fulfillment of the student learning outcomes in addition to curriculum standards for graduating seniors.
• You will be notified by telephone or e-mail once your portfolio has been graded.
• You will be able to collect your graded portfolio after the faculty review is completed. If you are unable to collect your portfolio in person, you may arrange to have it mailed to you.

Please send your mailing address and a check for $10, payable to St. Edward's University. Include your name as it appears on your portfolio and the words "Communication Portfolio" in the memo line. Checks can be sent to the following address:

Due to space constraints the department will keep your portfolio for one full year after your graduation. If the portfolio is not reclaimed by then and no other arrangements have been made, the contents will be disposed of and the notebook will be recycled. We know that student portfolios require substantial effort and several years of work to compile, so we want to make sure you have every opportunity to retrieve yours.
