Student Publications

Students have a number of opportunities to work on and/or submit to the three St. Edward’s student publications: Arete, an academic journal; Sorin Oak Review, a creative journal; and the Hilltop Views, a weekly newspaper.

Students of all academic disciplines are encouraged to submit their work for publication.

Publications listed on a résumé show evidence of initiative and strong writing skills. Employers and graduate schools are impressed with students who work on publications, as this demonstrates leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and attention to detail.
