Liberal Studies Program

Requirements for a Major in Liberal Studies
Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Liberal Studies

As a major in Liberal Studies, you enjoy considerable freedom in tailoring your course of study to meet your career needs and personal interests. By focusing on two of the four areas in the Humanities-Philosophy, Religious Studies, Art, and English-you widen your career alternatives as you expand your horizons. You also enjoy the fruits of pursuing a traditional, broad education in the liberal arts that has provided a solid foundation for study in graduate and professional schools through the centuries. Liberal Studies graduates have also performed well in the legal and medical professions, communication careers, education, and many other positions in industry and society.
