| This course is an entry-level course for students with no formal training in music reading or ear training. The course covers note-reading, musical terminology, basic harmonic concepts, and basic sight-singing. An examination of the elements of music
in isolation and combination. It includes a review of
notation, analysis of melody in relation to a tonal
center, intervals, rhythm, sight singing and an introduction
