| Curriculum and Degree
Requirements |
| The Religious Studies program is designed to offer students
a comprehensive approach to the study of religion and theological
inquiry. The courses assist students in developing faculties
for critical thinking and in attaining a historical view
of religion. In addition to core courses that provide a
solid foundation in the discipline, the student completes
the major or minor by selecting from the curriculum courses
that allow pursuit of particular interests in Religious
Studies or Theology. For example, students may focus on
world religions, systemic theology, biblical studies or
another area within the discipline. As they select their
courses, students design for themselves a program that
matches their interests and meets their needs. The Religious
Studies program prepares students for graduate school,
seminary, pastoral ministry and other professional opportunities. |
