Student Accounts
Student Computer Accounts
All students receive a computer account upon being admitted to the university. If you have lost or forgotten your login and/or password call the Computer Help Desk at 448-8443. The same login name and password is used by students to access EdWeb, e-mail, Blackboard, EdShare, web publishing, lab computers, and network or wireless connection services.
Account Duration
Your account remains active as long as you are eligible to register for classes at St. Edward's. While this time period varies among programs, the general rule is that accounts expire 60 days after graduation.
- For undergraduate students graduating in May accounts remain open until the 12th class day of the Fall semester.
- Students will lose the ability to access their St. Edward's email, EdShare accounts and other resources, with the exception of EdWeb, when their ability to enroll in classes at St. Edward's has ended.
- Graduating students will continue to have access to e-mail and EdShare until 60 days after graduation. Graduating students in all programs will retain the ability to login into EdWeb. Any documents on EdShare, including student web pages should be backed up to another resource before that date. Graduating students may forward their e-mail via Alumni E-Mail Forwarding.
- Beginning with students who had an account on 09/01/2005, students who took at least one course at SEU will retain the ability to log into EdWeb in order to access student account information.
