Backing up Browser Favorites on Mac OS X
How to Back up the Firefox Bookmarks:

Go to Bookmarks on the top menu bar and select Organize Bookmarks.

Click on the button for Import and Backup and select Backup.

You may browse to the location you wish to save your backup and click save.
How to Back up Safari Bookmarks:

Go to File on the top menu bar and select Export Bookmarks.

You may browse to the location you wish to save your backup and click save.
