Adding an Event

An event takes up an entire day (such as a birthday or anniversary), but does not cause conflicts with meetings or appointments. An event does not appear in the time slot area of the agenda.

  1. Click on the New Day Event button  on the toolbar. The pop-up box that appears is similar to the pop-up box for adding an Agenda item.
  2. Type a name for the event in the Title text box.
  3. The rest of the steps are identical to the ones for adding an agenda item. Fill in the necessary information in the People/Resources, Details and Reminders tabs.
  4. When you have finished adding a new day event, click OK.
  5. Click OK to complete the process.
