Adding a New Task
Tasks only appear in the Day View.
- To add a task, click the New Task button
on the toolbar or select Edit→New→Task from the menu bar. - Type in the Task Description.
- Select a beginning date. If applicable, select a due time. For example, if you must finish typing an agenda for an upcoming meeting that starts at 4:00, you might put in a Due Time of 3:30.
- Set the task priority (optional). You can also change the access level to the task if needed.
- The Reminders Tab allows you to set a reminder to start the task and to finish the task. Reminders appear in the Notes section at the bottom of the Day and Week views.
- In the Details option, you can add notes, comments, or files to the task.
- After adding all the task details, click on OK. The task appears in the task area of your Day and Week views.
