Adding a New Task

Tasks only appear in the Day View.

  1. To add a task, click the New Task button  on the toolbar or select Edit→New→Task from the menu bar.
  2. Type in the Task Description.
  3. Select a beginning date. If applicable, select a due time. For example, if you must finish typing an agenda for an upcoming meeting that starts at 4:00, you might put in a Due Time of 3:30.
  4. Set the task priority (optional). You can also change the access level to the task if needed.
  5. The Reminders Tab allows you to set a reminder to start the task and to finish the task. Reminders appear in the Notes section at the bottom of the Day and Week views.
  6. In the Details option, you can add notes, comments, or files to the task.
  7. After adding all the task details, click on OK. The task appears in the task area of your Day and Week views.
