Finding a File or Folder

If you fail to find the file you are looking for through traditional navigation you can resort to the Find command under the File Menu.

The Find dialogue box will appear.
(see below)

  1. Enter your search terms in the box in the upper right.
  2. Choose where you want the search to look.
  3. Use the dropdown menus to further refine your search if necessary.

Search results will begin to appear as soon as you start typing search terms. To see the location of the search item, click on the file name to highlight the item. The location of the file within the hierarchy will appear in the bottom half of the dialog box. To open the found item, double click on the name of the item in either the top section or the lower section of the dialog box.
