Section 7 - Finding a File or Folder

If you forgot where you saved a file and can not locate it using the Explore tool, you can use to the Search tool under the Start Menu. To activate the Search window, click on the Start Menu and select Search.

From this window, select the type of file you are looking for. The type you select will ask for different search factors. If you are not sure what type of file you are looking for, use the All Files and Folders option. The more information you enter, the faster your search results will be returned.
