A feature of Windows is the System Restore function. If you have made a change to your computer that seems to be causing problems, you can revert to your previous settings. System Restore returns your computer to an earlier time without causing you to lose recent work and email.

Click on the Start menu- All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - and select System Restore. This menu will give you two options, either restore to an earlier time or create restore point. Restore points are automatically created but from this same menu you can also create your own restore points.
