Exercise 1 is designed to test your understanding of the WWW and Internet.

The World Wide Web enables simple and inuitive navigation of Internet sites through a graphical user interface (GUI).

To become connected to the Internet you must have an Internet Service Provider (ISP).

The Internet cannot exist independent of the Web, but the Web can exist without the Internet.
When you request or send information such as a webpage or email, the computer directly sends the information from one computer to the requester.
