Section 3 - Uses of EdShare

• Printing in the computer labs: you must login to EdShare to print in any of the St. Edward's computer labs.

• Storing files: EdShare is a file server. You may store any files there. You may use this space instead of floppy disks to store assignments.

• Backing up files: EdShare is the ideal place to backup important assignments. Floppy and zip drives may fail as may the hard drive on your personal computer. EdShare is backed up nightly so your files will always be available.

All students automatically receive 250 MB of storage space on EdShare. This storage space may be used to store files of any type. Students may request additional storage space up to a total of 500 MB. Additionally, your EdShare account will remain active as long as you are eligible to enroll at St. Edward's University. When your St. Edward's account is ended your EdShare files will no longer be available.
