Section 8 - Creating Favorites
Creating Favorites is simply the process of saving a link of your favorite web page to a list of saved links. In Internet Explorer it is referred to as Favorites and in Firefox it is referred to as Bookmarks. Instructions for creating, organizing, deleting and adding Favorites are the same for the Macintosh OS and the Windows OS. The only difference is the placement of the Favorites menu. On Windows the Favorites menu is located on the Location toolbar. On Macintosh, the Bookmarks menu will be located on the menu bar.
To add to your Favorites list (PC)
- Go to the web page you want to make a favorite.
- Click Add Favorites icon

- Choose Add to Favorites.

- The name of the currently displayed page
will be added as the last item in the Favorites menu.
To add to your Bookmarks list (MAC)
- Go to the webpage you want to make your favorite.
- Click on Bookmarks from the menu bar.
- Choose “Bookmark this page.”
