Section 6 - Using the History List

Internet Explorer and Firefox maintain a history list of pages you have viewed. You can use the History list to keep track of and return to Web pages you have previously visited.

To view the history list (PC):

• Click on the Favorites button in Internet Explorer.
• The Favorites menu will appear on the left hand side of your screen.
• Select the History button .
• Click on the arrow next to the button to view your History by Date, by Site, by Most Visited, and by Order Visited Today.

• Clicking on “Search History” will allow you to search your history by name.

To view the history list (MAC):

• On a Mac, you can view the contents of the History list in two places: the History pane and the History menu.
• In Firefox, on the menu bar, click History. To see the History pane, click on “Show in Sidebar” from the drop down menu.
