Lesson 8 Index - Using St. Edward's University Webmail
Section 5 - Reply to, Forward, and Delete a Message

Reply:
By clicking on "Reply" in Zimbra Webmail, you will be able to write a reply to the sender of the message. The original message will be quoted in the response. If you don't want your replies to be quoted, you can specify this by clicking on the Preferences button and selecting the Composing tab.

Reply to All:
The reply will automatically be addressed to everyone in the To: and Cc: fields of the original message. The original message will be quoted in the response. If you don't want your replies to be quoted, you can specify this by clicking on the Preferences button and selecting the Composing tab.

Forward:
Forwarding allows you to pass the email you are reading along to someone else. You will be taken to a new content pane screen, and the full text of the message you are forwarding will be inserted into the new message. You can then address the message and write anything additional.

Delete:Trash Icon
Clicking on the trash will move the message you are reading from your Inbox and send it to the trash. In Zimbra Default, if you would like to empty your trash bin you can right-click on the trash icon in the Overview pane and select Empty Trash.
