Section 1 - Introduction
More information than ever before is available to the researcher.
The computer age has not only introduced effective and efficient
access to traditional sources it has produced a proliferation
of new sources and new formats. But this "information explosion"
has brought with it significant issues of validity and accuracy.
It is essential that any researcher routinely evaluate all
materials used. The objective of Lesson 4 is to provide
you with the basic skills necessary to begin this process
of evaluation.
