Section 10 - Changing Line Spacing

To change Line Spacing in Word XP:

• Position your cursor anywhere in the paragraph in which you would like to change the line spacing.

• From the Formatting Toolbar, click on the Line Spacing button list arrow  to select the new spacing size.

• Or, select the paragraph or paragraphs and click on the key Ctrl 1 for single space and Ctrl 2 for double space.

To change Line Spacing in MAC Word 2004:

• Position your curser anywhere in the paragraph in which you would like to change the line spacing or select the paragraph or paragraphs. On the formatting toolbar on the far right side click on the black arrow pointing right and select the line spacing.

• Or, select the paragraph or paragraphs and click on Command 1 for single space and Command 2 for double space.

To change Line Spacing in Word 2007:

• Click the Home tab. Position your cursor anywhere in the paragraph in which you would like to change the line spacing.

• In the Paragraph group, click on the Line Spacing button list arrow and select the new spacing size.
