Section 5 - Font
In this section you will learn how to change the font, font size, font style, and color of selected text.
Word XP and MAC Word 2004
The following diagrams reveal how to perform font changes from the Formatting toolbar and the Font dialog box in Word XP.

To open the font dialog box select Format from the menu bar and click on Font.

Word 2007
The following diagrams reveal how to perform font changes from the Home tab and the Font dialog box in Word 2007.

From the Font Dialog Box
- Click the Dialog Box Launcher button
located on the bottom right-hand corner of the Font group. The Font dialog box will appear and you can edit your font settings.
You may also change the font style of selected text in Word XP and Word 2007 through keyboard shortcuts. The table below lists the keyboard shortcuts for each font style. These are "toggle" controls that are turned on and off each time you select them.
