Section 4 - Formatting Text
You can format text before it is typed into the document or edit existing text. You may choose to change the font style or size, the orientation of the text on the page, or the location of a block of text on the page.
To change the text formatting first you must:
- Highlight or select the block of text you wish to format.
OR
- To format the text of the whole document in Word XP or Word MAC 2004, you may go to the Edit menu and choose Select All. In Word 2007, choose the Home tab and click the Select button from the Editing group.
OR
- Use the keyboard short cut Ctrl A (Command A on the Mac).
Once you have selected the text then review the next sections to see the different formatting options that Microsoft Word provides. |
