Section 3 - Using Microsoft Word Help

Microsoft Word provides a help system allowing you to find information about the program and how to use the different features and commands available. 

To open the Word XP or MAC Word 2004 Help dialog box:

• Click on Help in the Menu bar and select Microsoft Word Help.

OR

• Click on the Microsoft Word Help button on the Standard Toolbar.

Performing one of the previous actions opens the Microsoft Word XP Help dialog box.  The dialog consists of two panes.  In the top of the left pane are three tabs that allow you different methods of using the Microsoft Word Help dialog box.  The following sections give you a diagram on how to use each of the tabs.
