Change the Hyperlink Color
It may be necessary to change the color of an unvisited and visited hyperlink color if the hyperlink text does not display on the background design.

  • In PowerPoint XP or MAC PowerPoint 2004, from FormatMenu select Slide Color Scheme. On the Custom tab, select the color box for Accent and hyperlink an d t hen click on Change Color to choose another color.
  • In PowerPoint 2007, click the Design tab an d t hen choose Create New Theme Colors from the Colors drop down menu. Choose your new color from the dropdown menu next to Hyperlink.
  • Click Apply to affect all slides. In 2007 click Save.

Edit an Existing Hyperlink Destination

If the existing hyperlink no longer works or links to the wrong page, it can be changed.

  • Select the existing hyperlink.
  • In PowerPoint XP or MAC PowerPoint 2004, from the InsertMenu Bar select Hyperlink.
    In PowerPoint 2007, click the Insert tab and click the Hyperlink button.
Select and/or type in the new hyperlink destination.
